
Flex Staff Bio's
Tyler Holschlag
Mr. Holschlag has
3 years of experience in the medical instrument and device industry
involving product developement, design engineering and manufacturing.
Mr. Holschlag provides engineering design services to several medical
device companies within the US.
Prior to entering the medical device industry Tyler worked as a
glassblowing artist for Madd Art Studios creating blown vessels and
solid glass sculpture.
Mr. Holschlag holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical
Engineering from San Diego State University and a Associate in Arts and
Sciences from Palomar College.
Daniel Huynh
Daniel Huynh is an
award winning artist and jeweller. He apprenticed with a master
enamelist before moving to San Diego. At Flex Partners he works in the
prototyping shop using CNC machine processes, cast silicone
molds, along with traditional hand skills. He also serves as the
resident IT staff.
He holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech.
Daniel Kincade
Dan Kincade is a manufacturing
professional with over 25 years experience in the medical device,
biotech, pharmaceutical and consumer products industries. His expertise
includes liquid filling and packaging, parts assembly, robotics,
facility design and automated process systems. Dan has extensive
experience in the area of sterile manufacturing, high purity water and
steam systems and lyopholization.
As the Vice
President of Labrador Technologies Inc. for 10 years, Dan designed
equiptment for filling containers with volumes ranging from
micro-liters to milli-liters, including sterile, biohazard and
flammable materials. As Senior Project Engineer for Hybritech Inc., Dan
was responsible for the design, fabrication and validation of
manufacturing systems for medical products. As a Project Engineer for
Barnes-Hind Inc., Dan designed equiptment and tooling for the
manufacture and inspection of soft and hard contact lenses.
Dan holds a
Bachelors's degree in Industrial Studies from San Diego State
University.
George
Mansfield
George Mansfield
brings over sixteen years of experience in the developement of new
products for medical and biotechnology companies, both large and small.
Mr. Mansfield was previosly employed by Baxter Healthcare, Genetronics
Biomedical, Mobility Inc., The NeuroCare Group, and Intramed
Labratories. Throughout his career, Mr. Mansfield has aquired the
state of the art technical skills necessary for developing products in
a
rapid manner. He also has experience in outsourcing the manufacture of
medical devices to domestic and foreign contract manufacturers.
He holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego
State University.
Belinko
Matsuura
Belinko has over
six years experience in successful mechanical engineering product
design and prototyping for venture start-ups and established companies.
He
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San
Diego State University.
Dagmar Matsuura
Dagmar K. Matsuura has 23 years experience in the Medical Device
Industry.
During her tenure at IVAC (Alaris Medical Systems) she planned,
directed and coordinated activities for the Corporate Document Control
department in compliance with ISO9001: 2000, “Quality Management
Systems – Requirements”; FDA Quality System Regulation (21 CFR Part
820); EN 46001, Quality Systems – Medical Devices.
Dagmar started working with Flex Partners, Inc. in 2002. With
project responsibility for manufacturing process development. Her
responsibilities include: Product line fixturing development and
testing, process documentation, and product qualification testing.
Education and Training include: BS equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
from SPSS Bratislava, Czechoslovakia; Quality Systems; Good
Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality System Requirements (QSR)
programs; Leadership; Management and Business programs.
Pamela Plummer
Pam has many years
experience in the medical device industry. Prior to working at Flex
Partners, Pam was employed at IVAC Corparation (a Division of Eli
Lilly) for ten years. Her position as Executive Assistant to the
President included a variety of task including liaison with the vice
presidents, scheduling, and coordinating meetings. She joined the team
at Flex Partners in May 2002. She is responsible for financial and
clerical duties as the office administrator for Flex Partners.
Michele Suzuki
Michele is a graduate of San Diego State University's Applied Design
Program. She works in the administrative office as well as the
prototyping shop. She returned in 2002 to SDSU in order to
complete her Masters of Fine Arts.
James A. Trinchera
Jim is a Mechanical engineer with 23 years experience in the product
development and manufacturing environment. His areas of engineering
support have been mostly in the medical, toy and consumer device
industries. He also specializes in high volume manufacturing ioverseas
in China. In addition to his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical
Engineering, his education includes four years developing fluency in
Mandarin Chinese in a unversity-level Chinese Studies program.
Monique
Winters
While in college,
Monique worked for IMGENEX, a biotech company. At IMGENEX, her
responsibilities involved performing chemical and biological tests
and preparing products for distribution. In her senior year, she
interned at Flex Partners, where she learned machining, fabrication, as
well as product design and development skills.
She holds a
Bachelors degree in Bioengineering from San Diego State
