Medical Service (EMS) operations and
managed all EMS activities with a
budget of $4.8M and 85 field
paramedic/firefighters for the City
of San Diego Fire Department.These
paramedic/firefighters provided
advanced life support (ALS) service
to the 1.4M people in the City of
San Diego by responding to 60,000
emergency incidents annually. Helped
the San Diego Fire Department plan
and implement several innovative
emergency medical programs,
including the first major
metropolitan fire service Emergency
Medical Technician (EMT)
defibrillation program (1985).
Elected
to the Board of Directors of the San
Diego Firefighters Federal Credit
Union in 1998. Oversaw the financial
performance and reporting of the
credit union as Treasurer.Currently
